ILL FAME was assembled in the East L.A. area. Dirty Six started MC'ing at local house parties when he met R-sinal. The two soon clicked up and started to make noise on the underground scene. Dirty Six and R-sinal began to master the art of flowing in English and Spanish. Their natural ability to flip words in two languages naturally complimented each other's style. As Dirty Six and R-sinal began to gain recognition in the underground, they added another MC to the group. Sacred, from Lynwood, brought a new dimension to Dirty Six and R-sinal. Together with Sacred, Dirty Six and R-sinal would form a group called Lethal Minded. After a year of creating and perfecting their own style as Lethal Minded, they became ILL FAME. What ILL FAME tries to express and communicate with their audience are lifestyles that they have lived because of limited options that were presented in their life. Their musical style is new and lavishing. Their beats are dark and war-like or how Dirty Six tells it "They have an evil ritual tone". ILL FAME delivers hard-hitting lyrics with beats to match.
