The world is moving at an average of 1,040 miles per hour, in the city of Los Angeles that speed is ten times as fast for young street athletes trying to out run the obstacles stacked against them. To survive the warped spin of the hustlers’ life you must be trained and focused to think, speak, and react like a lightening bolt. The race is for your life and the krazier you are the better. KRAZYRACE, born Mark Ramirez, has been outrunning the crazed maze of LA his whole life. Racing at a speed of sound he has been able to survive the darkness and give that darkness a beat deep enough to reverberate through the cement of the streets he’s still pounding into promise lands.

“The only things I’m leaving behind me are blood, sweat, and tears…,” declares the veteran emcee, “…it has been a decade of writing, rhyming, performing, mixing, but it has also been an era of living and learning.”
KrazyRace is now moving forward at an intense speed with his latest release, New World Games, due out December of 2001, featuring 13 tracks of raw explosives. With production by Matrix, Red-Ice, Nate Fox, Eric C., 5th Battalion, Beelo and KrazyRace himself, New World Games is an album of hip-hop reflections that comes from a lifetime of dedication to putting down the word.

KrazyRace’s most recent contribution to the advancement of Latin Hip-hop is the single ‘DEDICATED’ found on the Ollin Project Compilation from Digital Aztlan. This song is an intimate street tribute, “dedicated to those who fought and died for the cause…. Dedicated to the land of the lost…dedicated to the highly decorated…rest in peace to my ones who didn’t make it.”

From chamber strings to violins, heavy guitar riffs to deep bass lines KrazyRace is not biased to a sound that will jump off the vinyl and into the blood streams of his audiences. Says KrazyRace, “the perfect beat captures the instrumentation of everyday life…it sounds like a heartbeat, with a life of its own.”
