A symbol of Ollin (meaning movement, earth-shaking or change) has been deep-rooted in the purification and consciousness of present peoples. A continual yearning for unity has elevated the consciousness for change, vivifying world mass movements, peoples articulations and groundwork visions for the creation of the new awaited sun. For those living souls, whose work for the birth of the sixth sun, are kept in the balance of the spirit and the vision.

The center or balance lies in the sign of Ollin, -a change towards the purification of the earth, the human search for unity, and the restoration of a personal balance. The luminous center of ourselves, the elevation towards the spiritual journey, and the attainment of the consciousness. Consciousness is knowing the struggle of opposites and the movement of a universal understanding. The integration of our past into our present, and future, will imply the rediscovery that is neither art nor science, but both. In the 14th century, indigenous priest were put to death, and the peoples of the earth slowly began to accept the science without a conscience, and an art without a vision.

Earth indigenous people know that the modern age is a time of trial and purification. They know that this present period of purification will mark the catastrophic end of the fifth world, and the preparation for the emergence into the sixth, the world of expanded and illumined consciousness.

The concept of cardinal directions is an ancient knowledge, an universal idea of struggle it is well known that is the balance of the cosmos. The direction of the East-land of the color red and the region of light, symbolized by the reed, representing fertility and life; the North, black, region of the dead-a cold and desert area symbolized by flint; the West, region of the color white, the land of woman, whose symbol is the sun, a direction of uncertain character represented by the rabbit, whose next leap according to the ancient Nahuas, no one can anticipate. The Nahuas believed that the universe consisted of thirteen vertically superimposed divisions, or heavens, above the earth, and nine hells, or inferior levels. The hells were the land of the dead. They awaited the arrival of the Nahui Ollin (day 4-movement) which would end the cycle of the Fifth Sun or Quinto Sol.
